1) We host approximately 28 fashion shows per year in the surrounding areas.
2) We celebrate Kitty Brown Boutique’s birthday on the 19th of May.
3) Our shoe shop opened in October 2018.
4) Pamela, the incredible Pamela, has been an integral part of the team for 15 years - since we were a tiny shop on Carnforth's iconic railway station.
5) As a business we support the Neuro Drop In charity and are great friends with the chair - Sharon Jackson.
6) Kitty Brown likes to support small businesses like ourselves where possible by stocking brands like FJ Jewellery and Soruka Leather - both expertly create handmade, unique stock.
7) Before we became Kitty Brown Boutique we were named 'Town and Country Fashions'.
8) Caroline, the co-founder of Kitty Brown Boutique has a Masters Degree in Management.
9) We have steamed over 1800 items of clothing this autumn/winter season!
10) Trueman, the assistant manager used to be a department head of Art in a high school in Winchester.
11) We have sold 796 scarves and snoods in 2024!
12) Through our fashion shows we have contributed over £10,000 to charities such as Air Ambulances, Hospices, School PTA’s and church groups.
13) We have been selling Adini since 2009, it has taken us 10 years to realize that their name is an anagram of India.
14) Before we opened our first shop on Carnforth Station we set up a pop-up shop each week at the Cumbria Grand Hotel in Grange Over Sands.
15) Our first fashion show was for the Bolton le Sands WI in spring 2008 – we had to empty the entire shop because it was all the stock we had!
16) The age range of our team from youngest to oldest is 52 years.
17) Founders of Kitty Brown, Caroline and Jenny, first met while working for Great Universal Stores in 1991. They are still great friends!
